Elvy enrolled in P1 for AEIS with Math and English. Despite being an overseas student with low English proficiency, my child passed the exam and could enrol in a public school in P2 the following year without being downgraded. Before I Joined ALKC, I was getting bare passes for both English and E Math in Secondary 3. In the centre, my trainers helped me so much for both subjects, giving me new tactics in order to tackle tough questions yet all while reminding me of the older strategies which were still of great importance. In the end, I clinched Als for both the subjects, and managed to get into the polytechnic course I have been eyeing for the past 3 years.

Before I attended the tuition classes, my grades for these subjects were ranging from high As to low Bs. Out of my expectations, I scored A2 for both Maths and Science subjects and an A1 for English!
I would like to thank the teachers; they were engaging and friendly. They clarified my doubts and helped me understand whatever that was taught in class better Their classes were not only detailed and enriching, they were fun as well! :)
The learning environment was very conductive and all the staff were really friendly. After class, we could stay back to ask the trainers questions if we still needed clarifications and they would do their best to help us understand the question or topic even if it was late at night. Before I joined the centre, I had failing grades and my morale was very low. It was only after I joined the centre that I got motivated to perform better. The teachers here believed that I could do well and did not give up on me. They also provided numerous feedbacks which enabled me to strive for better results.
Slowly but surely, my results began to improve. The 'O' Level Examination is an important obstacle which many secondary students face and fear.
However, I was already familiar with the questions that I was ready to face the examination. This was due to the constant practice and abundance of preparation, notes and materials that my teachers provided me.
After attending the lessons, I felt much more confident and eventually scored A2 for both English Language and Elementary Maths as well as B3 for my Additional Mathematics.
